"Influential People"

"Influential People"

My First Choice of someone who has a big impact on my life would be my Mother , My mother is one main person i can call my hero ! she is always there whenever i need her , my mother has lead me through my biggest accomplishments yet in life so far. my mother has a very strong backbone which i say myself i get from her .

My second choice would be my auntie Bernice, I choose my aunt because she along help me through so much , even though she is a call away ! Thats Is 12 hours a call away i should say huh , my aunt stays in Alabama  , which i go almosty every summer . My aunt has been a big influence on me every since i was a child her and my mom both play a role in my life . they have each push me to be in school and fight as hard as i can to get where they are or even higher than them . my Mother is A phlebotomist ,  a healthcare professional who is trained to draw blood from a patient in a safe and sanitary manner and my aunt is a manager in the LPN department in the hospital in her home town she is still an active duty soldier for the united states (army) which i plain to go after my degree.

my third person would be Malcolm X , the-activist and outspoken public voice of the Black Muslim faith, challenged the mainstream civil rights movement and the nonviolent pursuit of integration championed by Martin Luther King Jr.He urged followers to defend themselves against white aggression “by any means necessary.” Born Malcolm Little, he changed his last name to X to signify his rejection of his “slave” name. Charismatic and eloquent, Malcolm became an influential leader of the Nation of Islam, which combined Islam with black nationalism and sought to encourage and enfranchise disadvantaged young blacks searching for confidence in segregated America. After Malcolm X’s death in 1965, his bestselling book The Autobiography of Malcolm X popularized his ideas, particularly among black youth, and laid the foundation for the Black Power movement of the late 1960s and 1970s. He is also very influential because i know many people today who would say hey i am Muslim because of Malcolm . Malcolm is a man who made many blacks like myself understand why so many things happening today is happening he also was an eye opener to me .

Product Review

Today I will be reviewing 3 products for you. The first product I will be reviewing for you is the HTC Desire 626s android phone. The second product i will be reviewing for you is the LG Tone Pro 760 Stereo Bluetooth Headset. The third and final product I will be reviewing for you is Louis Kemp imitation crab meat.

HTC Desire 626s

I bought The HTC Desire 626s from Metro PCS on September 23, 2015. I fell in love with phone instantly. The screen isn't too big or too small, it's a 5 inch display. The quality of the screen is very good it's like having an HD TV in your hands. The phone is nice, slender, sleek, and feels very comfortable in your hand. The down side is at times it is going to lag on the games. This is due to the hardware in the phone. The main thing I don't like is that sometimes it does freeze temporarily and you can't remove the battery. As long as you have 4g speed on your data plan then you do have the fast download time, and search time on the internet.
G Tone Pro 760 Stereo Bluetooth Headset

I bought the Lg Tone Pro 760 Stereo Bluetooth Headset on September 23, 2015 from Metro PCS. I fell in love with these the very minute I got to use them for my first phone call. They have a nice lightweight feel around your neck, there are times where I forget that they are around my neck. They come with 3 different ear piece cushions that are interchangeable. on each side on the front you can find a silver button, the one on the left side is to answer and end phone calls, and the one on the right side is to play or pause your music. The down side to these is they have too much slack on the cord on each side and it does get in the way when I am wearing my book bag for school on my shoulder I am constantly having to move the cored out the way of the strap to the bag. The sound is good, like having surround sound in your ears. When your on the phone with someone they won't even know your using them. The Battery lasts for a long time without having to charge them. I have included a video below in case you would like to learn more about the LG Tone Pro 760 Stereo Bluetooth Headset it is a review that somebody has done themselves.
Louis Kemp Imitation Crab Meat

Louis Kemp imitation crab meat is the best that I have ever had in my life. Its sweet but not too sweet. The texture is smooth and easy to go down the throat. It's soft and easy to chew even with dentures. The only down side is the price, $3.00, its a little expensive but it's worth the money to me. It gives any salad, sandwich, or whatever you like to add crab meat in, a nice flavor boost. It comes in 3 styles flake, chunk, and leg. I added a video below to watch it shows you what it looks like when you take it out of the package and it shows you the texture up close.

My review of CSL PLASMA in southfield, MI

Recently I went to donate some plasma at CSL PLASMA in southfield, MI on greenfield in between 8 and 9 mile roads by the old northland mall. My overall experience was a delight, the staff were very nice and they explained the donation process to in a way that I could understand. When going to donate for your first time give yourself at least 3-4 hours to be at the center but once your in the system and donate on a regular basis you should only be at the center for about 2 hours. Times may also vary on if they are short on staff, or even if there is a lot if other donors if this shall happen be patient and calm so you do not raise your blood pressure or your pulse so you can donate.  Eat plenty of protein rich foods as well as iron rich foods because they do check both every time you go to donate. They also check your temperature every time you go to donate.  Every time you go to donate the first thing that you do is go to one of the kiosks and answer the questions then you go wait in line to get your vitals taken and then if your cleared to donate then you will go onto the donor floor and wait for an available bed then once you get a bed you will be hooked up to the machine and your donation process will almost be over.  The final step to the donation process is them taking you off the machine and you going to the computer to check your card balance to make sure that your payment was posted to your card. Once you have done that then you ate done with the whole donation process.  The staff is friendly and if you have any questions or concerns they will gladly answer them for you. The only problem that I had was sometimes the kiosk may freeze up on you but just alert the staff and they will help you. Below are some pictures that I got off their website as well as a link to a video that is on the website.    Csl Plasma donation video

People smoke marijuana in hand-rolled cigarettes (joints) or in pipes or water pipes (bongs). They also smoke it in blunts—emptied cigars that have been partly or completely refilled with marijuana. To avoid inhaling smoke, more people are using vaporizers. These devices pull the active ingredients (including THC) from the marijuana and collect their vapor in a storage unit. A person then inhales the vapor, not the smoke. Users can mix marijuana in food (edibles), such as brownies, cookies, or candy, or brew it as a tea. A newly popular method of use is smoking or eating different forms of THC-rich resins. Smoking THC-rich resins extracted from the marijuana plant is on the rise. Users call this practice dabbing. People are using various forms of these extracts, such as:
hash oil or honey oil—a gooey liquid
wax or budder—a soft solid with a texture like lip balm
shatter—a hard, amber-colored solid
Marijuana use can be used to treat and prevent the eye disease glaucoma, which increases pressure in the eyeball, damaging the optic nerve and causing loss of vision. Marijuana decreases the pressure inside the eye, according to the National Eye Institute: "Studies in the early 1970s showed that marijuana, when smoked, lowered intraocular pressure (IOP) in people with normal pressure and those with glaucoma. "These effects of the drug may slow the progression of the disease, preventing blindness.
LONG-TERM EFFECTS OF MARIJUANA
Reduced resistance to common illnesses (colds, bronchitis, etc.), Suppression of the immune system, Growth disorders, Increase of abnormally structured cells in the body, Reduction of male sex hormones, Rapid destruction of lung fibers and lesions (injuries) to the brain could be permanent, Reduced sexual capacity. Study difficulties: reduced ability to learn and retain information, Apathy, drowsiness, lack of motivation, Personality and mood changes, Inability to understand things clearly.
Marijuana overactivates parts of the brain that contain the highest number of these receptors. This causes the "high" that users feel. Other effects include:
altered senses (for example, seeing brighter colors)
altered sense of time
changes in mood
impaired body movement
difficulty with thinking and problem-solving
impaired memory
14. An "amotivational syndrome" can develop in heavy, chronic marijuana users. It is characterized by decreased drive and ambition, shortened attention span, poor judgment, high distractibility, impaired communication skills, and diminished effectiveness in interpersonal situations. (National Institute of Drug Abuse)
It may help reverse the carcinogenic effects of tobacco and improve lung health. According to a study published in Journal of the American Medical Association in January 2012, marijuana does not impair lung function and can even increase lung capacity. Researchers looking for risk factors of heart disease tested the lung function of 5,115 young adults over the course of 20 years. Tobacco smokers lost lung function over time, but pot users actually showed an increase in lung capacity. It's possible that the increased lung capacity maybe due to taking a deep breaths while inhaling the drug and not from a therapeutic chemical in the drug.
Marijuana smoke contains 50% to 70% more cancer-causing substances than tobacco smoke. One major research study reported that a single cannabis joint could cause as much damage to the lungs as up to five regular cigarettes smoked one after another. Long-time joint smokers often suffer from bronchitis, an inflammation of the respiratory tract. The drug can affect more than your physical health. Studies in Australia in 2008 linked years of heavy marijuana use to brain abnormalities. This is backed up by earlier research on the long-term effects of marijuana, which indicate changes in the brain similar to those caused by long-term abuse of other major
drugs. And a number of studies have shown a connection between continued marijuana use and psychosis.Cannabis smoke contains thousands of organic and inorganic chemical compounds. This tar is chemically similar to that found in tobacco smoke or cigars.[28] Over fifty known carcinogens have been identified in cannabis smoke.[29] These include nitrosamines, reactive aldehydes, and polycylic hydrocarbons, including benz[a]pyrene.[30] Marijuana smoke was listed as a cancer agent in California in 2009.[31] A study by the British Lung Foundation published in 2012 identifies cannabis smoke as a carcinogen and also finds awareness of the danger is low compared with the high awareness of the dangers of smoking tobacco particularly among younger users. Other observations include possible increased risk from each cigarette; lack of research on the effect of cannabis smoke alone; low rate of addiction compared to tobacco; and episodic nature of cannabis use compared to steady frequent smoking of tobacco.[32] Professor David Nutt, a UK drug expert, points out that the study cited by the British Lung Foundation has been accused of both "false reasoning" and "incorrect methodology". Further, he notes that other studies have failed to connect cannabis with lung cancer, and accuses the BLF of "scaremongering over cannabis".[33]
Essentially, cannabinoids' effect on our brains is to keep our neurons firing, magnifying our thoughts and perception and keeping us fixed on them (until another thought takes us on a different tangent). That's why when you're high, it's really not a good time to drive, study for a test, or play sports that require coordination, like tennis or baseball. Like alcohol, caffeine, and sugar, cannabinoids also effect the levels of dopamine in our brain, often resulting in a sense of relaxation and euphoria.
SHORT-TERM EFFECTS
Sensory distortion, Panic, Anxiety, Poor coordination of movement, Lowered reaction time, After an initial “up,” the user feels sleepy or depressed, Increased heartbeat (and risk of heart attack)
These extracts can deliver extremely large amounts of THC to users, and their use has sent some people to the emergency room. Another danger is in preparing these extracts, which usually involves butane (lighter fluid). A number of people who have used butane to make extracts at home have caused fires and explosions and have been seriously burned. When a person smokes marijuana, THC quickly passes from the lungs into the bloodstream. The blood carries the chemical to the brain and other organs throughout the body. The body absorbs THC more slowly when the person eats or drinks it. In that case, the user generally feels the effects after 30 minutes to 1 hour. THC acts on specific brain cell receptors that ordinarily react to natural THC-like chemicals in the brain. These natural chemicals play a role in normal brain development and function.
No matter how it gets into your system, it affects almost every organ in your body, and your nervous system and immune system, too. When you smoke pot, your body absorbs THC right away. (If you eat a baked good or another item, it may take much longer for your body to absorb THC, because it has to break down in your stomach before it enters your bloodstream). You may notice changes in your body right after you smoke. The effects usually stop after 3 or 4 hours. Smoking pot can increase your heart rate by as much as two times for up to 3 hours. That’s why some people have a heart attack right after they use marijuana. It can increase bleeding, lower blood pressure, and affect your blood sugar, too. We don’t yet know if marijuana is linked to higher odds of getting lung cancer. But the process does irritate your lungs -- which is why regular pot smokers are more likely to have an ongoing cough and to have lung-related health problems like chest colds and lung infections.
Other physical effects of marijuana include:
Dizziness
Shallow breathing
Red eyes and dilated pupils
Dry mouth
Increased appetite
Slowed reaction time (If you drive after using marijuana, your risk of being in a car accident more than doubles.)
If you’re a long-time user, you can have physical withdrawal symptoms -- like cravings, irritability, sleeplessness, and less appetite -- when you stop.
15. Adults who smoked marijuana daily believed it helped them function better, improved self-awareness and improved relationships with others. However, researchers found that users were more willing to tolerate problems, suggesting that the drug served as a buffer for those who would rather avoid confronting problems than make changes that might increase their satisfaction with life. The study indicated that these subjects used marijuana to avoid dealing with their difficulties and the avoidance inevitably made their problems worse. Although users believed the drug enhanced understanding of themselves, it actually served as a barrier against self-awareness. (case studies by research team from Center for Psychosocial Studies in New "Unfortunately, much of what is known about the human pharmacology of smoked marijuana comes from experiments with plant material containing about 2% THC or less, or occasionally up to 4% THC. In addition, human experiments typically are done in laboratory settings where only one or two smoked doses were administered to relatively young, medically screened, healthy male volunteers well experienced with the effects of marijuana. Females rarely participated in past marijuana research because of prohibitions (now removed) against their inclusion. Thus the clinical pharmacology of single or repeated smoked marijuana doses given to older people or to people with serious diseases has hardly been researched at all in a controlled laboratory or clinic setting. Some of the very few reports of experiments that have included older or sicker people, particularly patients less experienced in using marijuana suggest the profile of adverse effects may differ from healthy student volunteers smoking in a laboratory experiment (Hollister, 1986a, 1988a)rk.)
The ability to draw definitive conclusions about marijuana’s long-term impact on the human brain from past studies is often limited by the fact that study participants use multiple substances, and there is often limited data about the participants’ health or mental functioning prior to the study. Over the next decade, the National Institutes of Health is planning to fund a major longitudinal study that will track a large sample of young Americans from late childhood (before first use of drugs) to early adulthood. The study will use neuroimaging and other advanced tools to clarify precisely how and to what extent marijuana and other substances, alone and in combination, affect adolescent brain development.
When you inhale marijuana smoke into your lungs, it doesn’t take long for THC to enter your bloodstream. From there, it is quickly transported to your brain and the rest of your organs. When you get marijuana from food or drink, it is absorbed a little more slowly. THC triggers your brain to release large amounts of dopamine, a naturally occurring “feel good” chemical. That’s what gives you a pleasant “high.” It may heighten your sensory perception, as well as your perception of time. In the hippocampus, THC changes the way you process information, so your judgment may be impaired. It may also be difficult to form new memories when you’re high. Changes also take place in the cerebellum and basal ganglia, upsetting your balance, coordination, and reflex response. All those changes mean that it’s not safe to drive. Very large doses of marijuana or high concentrations of THC can cause hallucinations or delusions. According to the NIDA, there may be an association between marijuana use and some mental health problems like depression and anxiety, but more research is needed to understand the connection. In people who have schizophrenia, marijuana use can make symptoms worse. When you come down from the high, you may be tired or feel a bit depressed. In some people, marijuana can cause anxiety. About nine percent of marijuana users develop an addiction, according to the NIDA. Symptoms of withdrawal may include irritability, insomnia, and loss of appetite.

You Are - By Charlie Wilson
I love to listen to this song when I miss my sweetie. This is our song that we are going to dance to at our wedding if we get married. I remember the first time we listened to it it was beautiful. Me and him were watching a DVD copy of the BET awards for 2013 and Charlie Wilson, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell were performing a bunch of Charlie's songs. When this one came on he started to cry, pulled me close (hugging and staring in my eyes) and said that this song is how he feels about me and this is our song. To this day just thinking about that moment makes me smile.

2. Holes In The Floor Of Heaven - By Steve Wariner
This song always is going to make me cry. It's going to make me cry because i always think of my mom when i hear it. I also played it at her funeral. I played this song at her funeral because every time that it rains i know that its her wishing that she could be here with me. Ever since her funeral every time i go to her grave it rains even in the winter. It's a beautiful song that I used to like to listen to before she passed away, back then I didn't cry when I listened to it, but I still love to listen to it when I miss her the most.

3. Letters From Home - By John Micheal Montgomery
This song is one I like to listen to when I think of my uncle Myke or any of our other soldiers. This song touches me because I would have loved to been able to send letters back and forth to my uncle Myke when he was across seas. I know our soldiers need letters from home to remind them why they are away from home sometimes, I know I would. Funny little story about this song, at my moms funeral when they went to play Holes In The Floor Of Heaven they accidentally played this one because they were on the same mixed CD that I had and my handwriting wasn't that good and they couldn't read what number that I wrote to tell them what number the song was. When I think back to that moment I begin to wonder if that was a sign from my mom telling me she wanted this song to be played too.

4. The Little Girl - By John Micheal Montgomery
This song is just a song that I used to listen to growing up. It's sad just as well as a happy one. This is a song about a little girl who saw her dad kill her mom and then himself as she hid behind the couch. It starts off sad but ends happily.

5. Quickie - By Miguel
This is a very good song to listen to. It's real catchy and has a good beat to it. This is more of a love making song but I still like it a lot. This actually was the first song I heard from Miguel. Miguel is very talented, he kind of has that prince vibe but for today's generation of listeners. Miguel has quite a number of good songs to listen to.

6. Drop The World - By Lil Wayne feat. Eminem
This song has a lot of metaphors about life and about how some people feel. One of the metaphors I can relate to is one that is said by Eminem. "It hurts but i never show this pain you'll never know if  only you could see just how lonely and cold, and frostbit I've become, my back's against the wall when push come to shove, i just stand up and scream **** em all." When I hear Eminem say that it reminds me of when I was growing up and it seemed like I was an outcast with no friends. When I was growing up and going to elementary and middle school I really didn't have any friends and I always got teased, that's why i can relate to that lyric.

7. Don't Take The Girl - By Tim Mcgraw
This song is a very beautiful one about a love story. The song tells the story of two young lovers dealing with difficult scenarios at three different stages in their lives. In each situation, the man does all he can to make sure different people "don't take the girl." I listen to the song just to hear the story of those two childhood lovers it's just that moving and sweet. I do tend to cry at the end sometimes because the end is sad. especially when he asks god to take him instead of her it reminds me of how I felt when mom died.

8. When I'm Gone - By Eminem
I can relate to this song by Eminem because when i do eventually die i don't want everyone to mourn about my passing. The lyrics in the song that best supports that is...
"And when I'm gone just carry on don't mourn,
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, just know that,
I'm lookin' down on you smilin'
And I didn't feel a thing so baby, don't feel no pain, just smile back".
That's the chorus also known as the hook. I want my friends and family to play this song at my funeral just for the chorus because the chorus is me speaking to them. The chorus really says what i want to say to my friends and family when I'm on the other side, it does not miss a beat. I also love the beat to the song very catchy.

9. There Goes My Baby - By Charlie Wilson
I love this song by Charlie Wilson. I thought that it was a beautiful thing when he dedicated song this for Snoop Dogg and his wife for their anniversary back in 2009. Yet again Charlie Wilson is pulling at my heart strings with this song. When I hear this song I think of me watching my sweetie walk up and down the street taking care of his business. I get in a daze watching him walking up and down the street thinking about this song. Charlie Wilson knows how to make music about love catchy, mesmerising, and beautiful.

10. Seven Spanish Angels - By Willie Nelson and Ray Charles
This song was played at my moms funeral by my step dad where I heard it for the first time, but the version I heard was only Willie Nelson singing. The song is about a Mexican outlaw and his girlfriend who are trying to outrun a posse trying to return them to Texas. When they are finally cornered and exhausted from running, they decide to fight the approaching lawmen with gunfire.
After each fatal shooting, seven Spanish angels gather (presumably in Heaven) to pray for "the lovers in the Valley of the Gun." After the gunfights end and the smoke clears, "there was thunder from the throne" and the angels proceed to take "another angel home".
I'm glad to say my step dad had a good choice of song to dedicate to my mom at her funeral.
